Psychiatric Department

Our team works to support your health.

We recognize that the impact of a psychiatric illness affects multiple aspects of an individual’s life and the lives of family members. We strive to help individuals adapt, cope, and make changes that will help them to live as fully as possible within our community.
Our team of compassionate professionals is made up of a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric ARNPs, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Aides.

How to access the PBH Psychiatric 
Department

Being seen by our Psychiatric Department requires a referral for care. This may come from your primary care provider or internally from a PBH therapist.
If you have questions on whether care in our department would be a good fit for you or would like to become a patient at PBH, please call (360) 457-0431 and ask for the Access Department.

Our approach to care

Our team is here to support you as you work with PBH therapy providers on your treatment plan. We provide education to support your journey, and in some instances, our providers will engage in more formalized therapy when necessary.
Our psychiatric providers are all board certified and adhere to best practices. We believe in a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care and work closely with your primary care provider to assure continuity of care.

Medication can be a valuable tool when managed well. Our medical department works closely with our clinical staff and on-site pharmacy.

Alternative medicine consultations

Receive professional dialogue and recommendations for complimentary and alternative medicine, (CAM) including Nutritional Psychology.

Full Spectrum Light Therapy

Our dark winters can bring seasonal affective disorder and aggravate other conditions. PBH offers light therapy devices through a light loaner program.

Alternative medicine consultations

At PBH, we believe in treating you as a whole person. Our medical department provides EKG and lab services to screen for warning signs in your physical health.

On-site full service pharmacy

Your time is valuable. That’s why PBH has partnered with Genoa Pharmacy to bring you in-house pharmacy services and medication management.

Psychiatric consults for primary care providers

We are one part of your team. PBH offers one-time psychiatric consults with primary care providers for treatment recommendations and support.
