Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
Expanding Access to Comprehensive Care
Peninsula Behavioral Health has been selected to participate in Washington State’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Pre-Certification Cohort.
CCBHCs are designed to improve access to comprehensive, integrated behavioral health services by providing coordinated mental health, substance use disorder, crisis, and physical health care.
Through the CCBHC model, Peninsula Behavioral Health is working to:
- Improve access to care
- Expand service availability
- Strengthen care coordination
- Enhance quality outcomes
- Increase community partnerships
- Reduce barriers to treatment
This initiative represents an important step toward ensuring individuals and families in Clallam County receive timely, high-quality behavioral healthcare when they need it most.
